On Thursday The Dangerous Summer played a show at my house. Everything that could have went wrong did, but it was all worth it because of this moment. Weathered is by far my favorite TDS song. I connect with this song in so many ways and i have “im an optimist, but only in a perfect world” tattooed on my body. I still can’t believe I got to sing it with AJ. He’s always been so supportive of my voice and even though this isnt the best I’ve ever sounded it doesnt matter because it was such a release and an amazing experience. There are no words to describe how grateful i am.

Cody informed me that the dates listed for the CIWWAF tour are wrong.
Tour kicks off in NYC on June 7th. Not in Boston June 6th.
As for the rest of the dates I’m not sure but I know that those are definitely wrong.
Anyone that knows me knows that The Dangerous Summer is my favorite band in the world. Aj Perdomo’s words have always meant a lot to me and I have admired his writing for years. As soon as I listened to “Reach For the Sun”, the one lyric that I connected with the most was this one from the song “Weathered”. I’m not the most optimistic person. I hardly ever see the bright side of a situation and rarely believe things will work out in my favor. I’ve never come across a lyric more powerful and more relatable to me. I added the bow because of the irony. I feel like everyone tends to turn away from the reality of things and tries to dress up or “put a bow” on things that are imperfect to cover up it’s flaws. I try to live my life as an optimist, but with everything that I’ve been through at such a young age it’s hard to always keep my head up. I can’t thank AJ enough for all his words have done for me. This tattoo means the absolute world. Thank you to Evan from Graceland Tattoo for doing such an amazing job and being such a sweetheart<3I lyke da bow
my tattoo btw :)
